The dual burner run full heat could control it. The 8" would stick on some times when in use had to smack switch to unstick it.
First shut off power to range and then unplug it. Remove the back cover to get to the switches. The 8" burner infinite switch was easy Just hold new switch and replace one wire at a time from old switch to the new switch, Then remove the old switch and put the new one in and replace the two screws. The new dual burner switch I use a sheet of paper and laid out the switch just like I saw it on the range, then laid out the new and followed the wiring chart that came with the new switch, if you follow the instruction sheet it makes it easy to do. Note the switch I received where not in the off state so I had rotate the dual burner switch to line it up for off mark on the range when I found the off on the switch.
