Product Description

If your oven door is not opening or closing easily, there may be an issue with the door hinge. The hinge uses spring tension to allow the door to stay open at an angle instead of dropping open. This genuine OEM hinge can be used on either the left or righthand side of the door, and measures approximately 20.5 inches long. This part is sold individually, however we recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, as they can wear out a similar rate.

Oven door Hinge was broke...Door would just fall open
Watched the video on the repair you supplied...gave us confidence to make the repair. As easy as the video shows. We went ahead and bought 2 hinges and replaced both sides, since we had it apart...We, however, took the opportunity to take the door completely apart and clean it very good. Went back together easy. The new parts fit perfectl y and my oven looks and works like it is brand new..New light bulb was a snap too. So glad I found this company....fast shipping too. Will always look here first in the future.

Door wouldn't close completely
I read about a lot of people who could not get the door to close after installing one or both hinges. It happened to me as well. The answer was to pull out a little pin right next to the large pin that serves as a pivot for the overall hinge. The small pin was preventing the hinge from retracting all the way. I hope that this helps ot her people who have instead modified their doors with magnets etc. Easy fix. And I have no idea why that little pin is in there. /Users/praiseassembly/Desktop/hinge.jpg

broken spring in the left hinge
viewed the video first. it was very helpful.it should have mentioned not to re move the pins until the door is back in the receptacle slots. I replaced both hinges because of the age of the oven,over 14 yrs. old.i saved well over two hundred dollars.both repair services said the parts were not available. but I found parts select and I tha nk you for coming to my rescue.i will certainly call on you in the future if needed. nick c

Sticky door opening/closing - oven would not close completely
Followed the instructions provided by the video. Obviously some minor changes due to different model, but basically identical. The replacement of the hinges fixed the sticky door, but did not solve the closure issue. So, based on help from others, I bought a set of 4 samarian cobalt Samarium Cobalt Magnets 3/4 in x 1/4 in Disc

from magnet4less.com . I glued to the oven using J&B weld. Both are rated for temperatures above 500F. Worked perfectly. Both top and bottom close completely now with very little extra pulling force required...
