When using the "Fluff" setting it would trip the breaker which we could reset. We stopped using "fluff" but the last time we did it by mistake it didn't just trip the breaker - it blew it out.
Unplugged dryer. Turned off house breaker. Replaced 30 amp dual breaker. Powered house back up. Opened control panel front, removed the switch (hint. It rotates and then pops out. Put in the new one. Plugged it in and all works. My replacement switch plus the breaker was less than a diagnostic visit from a local repair person.
