This heating element consists of a one piece metal tube and a coil. It carries 240 volts and is almost fifteen inches long with an approximate seven inch diameter. This element includes thermal fuse and heat shield.

Important!!! ( Unplug dryer before doing any repairs) !!!Remove (2) philips screws on bottom corners of front panel which are angled upward at a 45 degrees. Lift outward and upward to disengage retainer clips on top of front panel. Remove wire from the retainer on the left (or right) side of panel for door shut-off switch if need be.Set p anel aside. Locate cylindrical shaped heating element on bottom right side. Remove two 1/4" nut-screws, one at the front and one at the rear that attaches to exhaust. Remove and label switch wires from High Limit switch and any others before removing heating element. Replace switch wires,1/4" screws in heating element, door stop wire in retainer, front panel with screws and you will be ready to plug in and test.. Easy as pie!

Dryer drum turned but no heat.
I watched the repair/troubleshooting video, learned the basic causes and began to eliminate from simple to complex.First probable cause was poor air passage in vent. My old house had 6 90 degree bends before reaching outside. Technically it should have sucked air into te dryer. Redid venting to only 2 90 degree bends. Then checked continu ity at breakers thermstats and finally heater unit. No continuity at heater unit, took it out and was able to see the broken coil. With that knowledge and experience, replacing the unit was simple and quick. Thanks a bunch.
