Fan kept freezing up so I've while turn on the bottom but it wasn't cool enough on the top shelves. Turns out the seal wasn't sealing correctly near the top of the fridge so cold air would escape making the fan work harder, hence the ice, and the fan freezing up
Take note of how your old seal is installed. Then pull it out and toss it. Make sure the perimeter of the door where the seal is going to sit is good and clean and dry. Also make sure the door where the seal will close is clean and dry. Push the new seal into place taking notice of the notches in one side to make room for the door lock of f your model has one. Close the fridge nice and tight. (Before this I had to turn off my fridge for a couple of days to let the ice melt so the fan would turn again). Hopefully this helps someone save money instead of buying an all new refrigerator.
