Washer leaked drips came out of the back where hoses connect and from the bottom.
I removed the front and top of the washer. (Thanks for the great videos,!) Injector valve was leaking out the perforated sheath, so I ordered a new one. That did not fix my leak! New one leaked at the same spot. So I went searching on forums and the consensus is that is an unnecessary part. I then removed it and replaced it with a 3/4" pipe. That fixed the problem; but on running a load through I discovered that the tub gasket was leaking on the spin cycle. Sad ending to this story, I decided to scrap the old Maytag. It was 40 years old and paid for itself many times over.
