My dryer doesn't turn off in Automatic mode even though the clothes are dry. Is this the part I need to fix it?

Hello Jesse, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Dryer Cycling Thermostat. You will find this part attached to the blower wheel housing. With a multimeter you can test the two large terminals on the thermostat, they should read closed for continuity and the two small ones should show an ohms resistance value.
