Interior light stopped working
The bulb cannot replaced separately, it is fixed to the interior light fixture. You must unplug the dryer prior to attempting to remove the light fixture as the wire contacts are exposed, and you could short out the dryer because the dryer door is open with the light fixture door switch energized. Pop off the light fixture cover with a screw driver and then pry out the fixture from the interior cabinet. You may need a flashlight and a mirror to see the light fixture. Pull the wire contacts off the fixture from behind and plug the wires onto the new light fixture. Snap the new fixture back into the cabinet and plug in the dryer.

1) Interior light not alluminating 2) basket edges broken off and catching/ruining clothing,
door latch broken requiring a ratchet trap to keep closed throughout drying cycle 1) unplug machine, easily open door of light assembly by just pushing in on barbed catch holding it, complete light assembly comes out at an angle, remove 2 wires attached with blade connectors behind bulb and reattach to new assembly making certain wire connectors stay in same configuration (mark if necessary), reinstall at same angle as removal and reattach door. 2) new basket simply slides in place of old one. 3) Use pliers and small screwdriver (gently) to remove door catch w/o bending surrounding sheet metal on catch opening. Press new catch into retangular hole in door -voila!
