upper arm fell off
I lined the bottom of the dishwasher with towels in case any of the parts fell down. I lifted out the bottom dish rack and then put scotch tape around my index finger with the sticky side up. This was for holding the small pin that goes into the top of the holder. Make sure the open spray holes on the arm face downward. I pulled the o

val pipe down slightly and put the arm and holder in place. I then took the pin which was held on my index finger with tape and pushed it into the arm holder until I heard it click. That was it. All repaired in less than five minutes. The only difficult part is getting yourself into a position on the floor where you can see what you are doing and then applying enough pressure to make the pin click.

Found the upper spray arm loose in the dishwasher. The snap piece that held it in place had failed.
Ordered the direct replacement part from this site and was able to install it in about 2 minutes without tools. Easy Peasy!

Rinse aid dispenser was not dispensing.
The video for the dispenser replacement on the website was pretty clear and the overall replacement was pretty simple. The one complication was that the door on our stainless steel model had been glued on with what appeared to be insultating foam. Consequently, pulling off the door required a lot more hard yanking than the video indica

Spray mechanism on upper rack fell off
The upper wash arm was broken and we decided to order the part (PS 392681) for $24. The hard part was pulling out the top rack, which is easy once you know how to do it. There is a black stopper which holds the rack in. All you have to do is press the button (which releases the stop) and you pull it out. The rack comes out easy. Th

e upper arm spray is on the top of the inside of the washer. It snaps in to the machine in 2 places, and all you have to do is pull it out. The parts you are pulling out are the spray propeller and the hose it is attached to. The hose goes over the top of the washer and down the back and connects at the base of the dishwasher. We disconnected the entire piece down to the bottom of the washer. You can move the hose to the right and this makes it easier pull out. We then took the new pieces, which involved a propeller and two connectors and put it together. The pieces snap easily into place. We then snapped the hose back into the washer and connected the lower hose to the bottom of the washer.
The hardest part of this was reaching the hose in the back of the washer. My husband had to lean in and reach to the back and pull the hose out of the brackets. It’s an awkward position.

Upper Wash Arm broke and fell on the heating element and burned through the plastic
Absolutely helps to read the other reviews. I placed a dark color towel in the base of the dishwasher because I dropped the top (white) pin the first time I tried to put it in the hole. Be sure the towel is all the way to the back of the base. I placed the arm on with holes facing down toward the top shelf and then snapped on the connect

Old wash arm fell off
watched the video and then proceeded. It took the two of us working together to set in the new wash arm. I gently held down the piece attached to the washer and he clipped the new arm onto that part with his stronger fingers. We watched the video again during the process to ensure we were doing correctly. Our combined ages=160+. Marri

Rivet on upper arm wore out. Had to get new upper arm assembly
It turned into a 2 day job. Let me explain. You can easily bend the water [pipe] down to insert the rivet (without removing any trays or the water pipe). However it slipped and fell into the washer. I tore the washer apart literally looking for it. Lesson_ if you try this method, put something over the upper tray. After ordering another p

art shipped express, my wife found the rivet (almost invisible and looked like a kernel of corn) stuck to the lower tray[partially under] near the utensils basket. I did search the trays obviously without success. With washer totally disassemble (down to removing the lower washer arm assembly. Replacing was piece of cake. Lesson learned. A simple 1 minute job became a 2 day expensive lesson in frustration.
