Does kit come with sleeve, ring, piston & top bolt & bearing , & connecting rod?

Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry. We show this part includes the Piston Rod, Compression Ring , Cylinder Sleeve & Bearing. It does not include the valve plate, or head gaskets. We hope this helps.

Greetings fix.com. Great installation video, well done by the gentleman doing the work. If I may, I have the Craftsman CMEC6150 compressor and, currently, when i fire it up there is a significant rattle inside that gets progressively worse as the pressure builds. Based on your experience, is that typically the connecting rod assembly alone? Thank you for any help you can offer!

Hi Brenton, thank you for getting in touch. We are thrilled to hear that the installation video was helpful and made the process easier for you. While a failing connecting rod assembly is a very common culprit for a rattle that worsens under load, it is not always the only cause. Ensure that there is no damage to the piston compression rings. If the compression ring is heavily worn or the cylinder sleeve is scored, the piston will slap violently against the cylinder wall. We hope this information helps!
