The knob is sold individually, made of plastic, and is white in color. No tools are required to replace this part, simply pull off the old knob and push the new one into place.

Over time and with regular use, it is possible that the knob will crack and no longer be capable of turning. This can result in your appliance not being able to start, or the timer will not advance.
