Magnetron
-Removed microwave from the wall to move it to a table to work on.
-Removed screws in the cover(all along edges on top, sides, back, and bottom)
-Removed sheetmetal covering for top and sides.
-Removed Control Circuit Board Panel (Just to the right of the door).
-Tested all three safety switches for door interlock (all checked good)
-Put back together to try again, with no luck.
-All signs pointed to the magnetron so that's what I ordered next.
-Let the microwave sit unplugged for the week that I waited for the part to arrive.
-Received part, unpackaged, everything looked very similar to the original, with one slight difference.
-The two wire connectors on the magnetron are labelled FA and F. I noticed that on the original the FA was on the left side and the F terminal was on the right. One the new magnetron they were on opposite sides.
-No big deal, took the wire connector off of the original magnetron and took apart, this allowed me to swap the FA & F cables to match the correct sides of the new magnetron.
-Removed 1 screw on a bracket inside and to the front of the magnetron
-Removed 4 screw from the top side of the microwave that held the magnetron in place.
-Removed old magnetron
-Installed new magnetron
-Performed all the above steps in reverse

Fix Number FIX3529034
Manufacturer Part Number 6324W1A001L
This magnetron in your microwave creates the radiation needed for cooking or warming your food. It is located inside the main cavity, typically near the transformer or waveguide. When the magnetron becomes defective, your food may not heat up properly or heat up at all. Additionally, buzzing or humming sounds may be noticeable while the microwave is in operation. With a malfunctioning magnetron, your microwave loses its primary function. To remove it, you first need to unplug your microwave from its outlet. Before touching any components, discharge the capacitor by placing a screwdriver, with an insulated handle, across the two terminals of the capacitor. Once the capacitor is discharged, replace the current magnetron by disconnecting it from any wires and removing any mounting screws or clips. This magnetron is sold individually and is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer.

Installation Instructions
Elizabeth T from AIKEN, SC
The turntable wouldn't turn, and replacing the plastic arm didn't solve it. The problem turned out to be the post coming up from the motor to which the plastic arm connected. It was badly corroded.
Step 1. I took out the glass turntable and the plastic arm under it and taped the door shut. Step 2. Unplugged the unit and had husband place it door side down on a soft surface. Step 3. I had watched several videos which made me decide to take the case off to access the motor on the bottom. This was because I did not have the proper tool to snip open the little metal door on the bottom of the unit. The motor is housed behind this little door. However, it turned out I did not have the correct screwdriver to loosen all the screws on the case. So I found a small needle-nose pliers that worked to open the little door. (Steps 3 and 5 are the only hard parts.) Step 4. Unplugged the connections to the motor, removed the two screws, installed the new motor. Step 5. Bent the tabs of the little door into the slots so the door would remain shut. Step 6. Put everything back together. Surprised husband by having it back up on the counter and working perfectly.
