To access the exterior lightbulb, the bottom panel of the microwave will need to be removed. It is secured in place with screws, so will require a Philips screwdriver to remove it. Screw the new light bulb directly into the light socket. If this is the first time you have replaced this light bulb, the old light bulb might be held in place with silicone. This silicone will need to be cut off using either a utility knife or dental floss before removing the light bulb. Once this silicone and old bulb has been removed, the replacement bulb can be screwed in its place.

This flat style oven igniter kit is a genuine OEM replacement part for your gas range. When the igniter glows white hot, the heat opens the gas valve and ignites the fuel heating the burner assembly. If your igniter is only glowing orange or red, or not glowing at all, it will need to be replaced. This kit includes the igniter, ceramic wire nuts, an insulation pad, a metal bracket, and a variety of plug ends. This kit can be used for both short or long igniters, and the bake or broil element. However, it is not compatible with ranges that require round style igniters. The igniter has an amperage between 3.3 and 3.6. The element is very fragile and should be handled with care. Before beginning your repair be sure to disconnect both the power and gas supply to your range.

my oven's door seal had worn out
I removed the old seal by pulling it out of the holes in the door. The seal has spikes that go into the holes but they were easy to pull out using pliers. It was very easy to put the new seal in, all you have to do is make sure the spikes fit in the proper holes and the seal is lined up correctly, then push the spikes into the holes. Read more...
