If your drawers are difficult to open and close, or the cover has any visible signs of damage, it should be replaced so that your crispers continue to function as intended. This is an easy repair that does not require any tools. Simply remove the crisper drawers, then lift out the cover. Place the new cover in the fridge, and reinstall the crisper drawers. Carefully check to ensure that your fridge door will close properly, and you are all set. Please note that this part may look different than the original one you are replacing, but it is a genuine OEM part that will work with your refrigerator. The crisper drawer cover is made of plastic and is white in color.

Then, use a flat blade screwdriver to depress the locking tab, and the endcap will detach. Finally, snap the new end cap locking tabs into place, and snap the bar assembly back onto the freezer door.
