These heaters melt the frost that builds up on the evaporator coils during the cooling cycle. This kit comes with two radiant glass heaters that are joined with a wire. The heaters are each approximately 9 inches long, each can carry 500 watts, and 115 volts. To successfully install this replacement part you will need a nutdriver, pliers, and screw drivers. Before beginning this repair make sure you have unplugged your refrigerator.
