This is a genuine OEM 40-Watt replacement light bulb that is compatible with various types of appliances. It has a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, making it easy to screw and unscrew by hand to replace. It is designed to tolerate extreme temperatures, which is why it is commonly used to light the inside of refrigerators and ovens. Depending on the appliance and location of the bulb, disconnecting the power is recommended. This bulb is sold individually.

Ceramic Fuse - 20 amp
Fix Number FIX11747931
Manufacturer Part Number WPM0805101
This is a ceramic fuse for a microwave. It is just over 1 inch long. This fuse is 20 amps and 250 volts. This part powers your microwave. If your appliance is not heating properly, or is not turning on, you will need to replace this part. Before making any repairs to the microwave, make sure it is unplugged and the capacitor is discharged. Capacitors can store large amounts of electricity for long periods of time. Proceed with caution.

Loud humming noise but no heat
I looked online and found that the problem could be a bad magnetron, a bad capacitor, or a bad diode. I received a quote of $485 plus sales tax from an appliance repairman to remove the oven, replace the three parts, and re-install the oven. Instead, I ordered the three parts from this site.. My son-in-law and I removed the range below the microwave and then the microwave itself. It's a two-person job for an above-the-range oven. I was careful to discharge the capacitor before doing any repairs. The parts were easy to replace. The new capacitor was a little larger than the old one, but it had the right specs. With a little maneuvering, I got it in. We re-installed the microwave back above the range, re-inserted the range, and we were in business. So far it works great. I saved more than half of the quoted repair price and more than the price of a new one. I might have bought a new one, but this model is no longer made (mine is 11 years old). The new ones I looked at didn't match well in either appearance or size. Overall, a good experience and a good outcome. Read more...

Magnetron
Fix Number FIX3529034
Manufacturer Part Number 6324W1A001L
This magnetron in your microwave creates the radiation needed for cooking or warming your food. It is located inside the main cavity, typically near the transformer or waveguide. When the magnetron becomes defective, your food may not heat up properly or heat up at all. Additionally, buzzing or humming sounds may be noticeable while the microwave is in operation. With a malfunctioning magnetron, your microwave loses its primary function. To remove it, you first need to unplug your microwave from its outlet. Before touching any components, discharge the capacitor by placing a screwdriver, with an insulated handle, across the two terminals of the capacitor. Once the capacitor is discharged, replace the current magnetron by disconnecting it from any wires and removing any mounting screws or clips. This magnetron is sold individually and is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer.

Microwave would run but would not heat. (Lights worked, turntable turned)
Killed circuit breaker to microwave.
-Removed microwave from the wall to move it to a table to work on.
-Removed screws in the cover(all along edges on top, sides, back, and bottom)
-Removed sheetmetal covering for top and sides.
-Removed Control Circuit Board Panel (Just to the right of the door).
-Tested all three safety switches for door interlock (all checked good)
-Put back together to try again, with no luck.
-All signs pointed to the magnetron so that's what I ordered next.
-Let the microwave sit unplugged for the week that I waited for the part to arrive.
-Received part, unpackaged, everything looked very similar to the original, with one slight difference.
-The two wire connectors on the magnetron are labelled FA and F. I noticed that on the original the FA was on the left side and the F terminal was on the right. One the new magnetron they were on opposite sides.
-No big deal, took the wire connector off of the original magnetron and took apart, this allowed me to swap the FA & F cables to match the correct sides of the new magnetron.
-Removed 1 screw on a bracket inside and to the front of the magnetron
-Removed 4 screw from the top side of the microwave that held the magnetron in place.
-Removed old magnetron
-Installed new magnetron
-Performed all the above steps in reverse

Good Luck!!!
