This convection fan motor assembly is designed to circulate hot air throughout the oven cavity, promoting even heat distribution for more consistent baking and roasting results. By keeping air moving during convection cooking, it helps eliminate hot spots and improves overall cooking performance. Replacement is often needed if the oven fan becomes loud, stops spinning, or causes uneven cooking temperatures. Supplied as a complete motor and fan assembly, this component offers a reliable solution for restoring quiet operation and efficient convection airflow when the original fan motor is worn or damaged.

This convection fan motor plays a key role in maintaining uniform heat distribution during convection cycles by rotating the fan blade to circulate hot air. A failing motor may result in uneven cooking, extended bake times, or inactive fan operation. Designed for compatibility with various oven models, it offers OEM-level reliability and ease of installation. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from power before replacing the component.

If the turntable on your microwave does not rotate, or you can hear a grinding noise, the problem may be with the motor. The motor is typically located below the floor of the oven, and is accessed through the bottom. The motor is normally held in place with a retaining screw and will have two wires attached to it as well. If the motor is making a grinding noise it will need to be replaced. If the motor does not turn, you can check for voltage or continuity with a multi-meter. Make sure the power is disconnected from your microwave before beginning this repair.
