Broken door handle
This is very easy to replace I started with the door molding.. about 1 inch down from the top of the door molding you can slide your tool behind the molding and it pops off. Then slide the molding upward . Repeat the same action for the bottom molding.. now the screws are revealed and you can remove them. (New gasket was placed in bathtub of warm water, prior to installation)
Step 1: Unplugged unit.

This is a genuine OEM replacement key for the door of upright or chest freezers. If you have misplaced or damaged your key, you will need a replacement in order to lock and unlock your freezer door. We recommend storing the key in a safe place away from the freezer itself. We recommend testing the new key with the freezer door open, to ensure that the latch opens and closes properly. This key is made from white plastic and is sold individually.

Lost freezer key and door was locked and frozen from the inside
The key would not work, but unplugged the freezer and moved it outside where it could thaw out. After the freezer thawed out, the door could move and the key could then turn the latch. When we moved the freezer and jiggle it from side to side, it also loosened up the door. Read more...

The 115-volt evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated. If your freezer is noisy or too warm from the motor not working, you will need to replace this part. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This is a genuine OEM part – note the screw holes in the motor are not threaded from the factory, use your old screws. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.
