This is a genuine OEM 40-Watt replacement light bulb that is compatible with various types of appliances. It has a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, making it easy to screw and unscrew by hand to replace. It is designed to tolerate extreme temperatures, which is why it is commonly used to light the inside of refrigerators and ovens. Depending on the appliance and location of the bulb, disconnecting the power is recommended. This bulb is sold individually.

Or it can be found in the bottom of the microwave and is used to illuminate the cooktop of your range. If one of the bulbs has burnt out or broken, it will need to be replaced. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your microwave before replacing the lightbulb, and if the glass has shattered safety gloves should be worn.

Socket This light socket is a genuine OEM part for your refrigerator. The light socket powers the bulb that lights your fridge. To repair this part, you will need to remove the screws holding the control panel in place. Pull the panel out and unplug any terminals or wires connected to the socket. Plug the new socket into place, and reattach terminals and wires.

It measures 14 inches by 5 1/2 inches. This does not include the white plastic housing that the light is in, this is just the cover. To install your replacement part you simply snap it into place, no tools are required.
