Keep cold air contained with a replacement freezer door or lid gasket. A damaged seal can allow moisture inside, leading to frost, temperature changes, and longer cooling cycles. First, clean the existing gasket and cabinet edge, then check for gaps or hardened sections. Make sure the lid is aligned correctly because loose hinges can also prevent a proper seal. Verify compatibility using the full appliance model before purchase. Disconnect electrical power before replacement. If the new gasket arrives folded, soften it with warm water or gentle heat. Avoid overheating the material. Install it evenly, close the lid, and inspect the entire seal for gaps.

Need plastic drive pines to secure to freezer door .replaced with alu. pop rivets ,cost one third. plastic schroud broken on leading edge could not fix so I inst with glue then finished with rivets to secure seal . closed door while glue set for proper fit Read more...
