Please note that the knob to set the timer is sold separately, be careful not to damage yours when removing the knob to install the new timer. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer. You will need to pull it out far enough from the wall in order to access the back panel. Before removing the wires, it may help to take a photo first, so that they can be attached to the proper terminal on the new timer. The timer is held in place on the control panel with two metal hooks locking into two plastic tabs. Carefully rotate the timer counterclockwise to remove, and clockwise to install the new timer into place.
