Product Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement part from LG. This is a heating element that is commonly used in air conditioners that have a heating function as well. This part of your air conditioner is what heats air when you have the unit in heating mode. If the unit still functions in cooling mode, and if the coils and filter are clean you might need to replace your heating element. This assembly coming with both the element, and the frame/mounting plate. These replacement parts are made of metal. Before you attempt this repair make sure you unplug your air conditioner.

Heating element went bad
Removed the Heater / AC unit from the housing and removed the front cover and condenser. Tested the element with an Ohm meter and determined it was bad. Ordered the part from Parts select and received it in 2 business days. It would have been one day but I ordered it late on Friday evening. Part fit perfectly and heater works great! Far l ess expensive than a new Heater / AC unit. The only difficulty was getting the condenser back in place correctly. had to hold my mouth right.
