Disconnect gas line and vent hose,removed top and back covers to install belt.

YOU NEVER SENT ME THE PARTS!!!
I had to drive to a parts store to find them. On January 17, 2024, I tried to call you when the parts did not arrive and your recording said there were no reps available and you hung up. WE CANNOT GET HELP TO CANCEL THIS ORDER. We have been going in circles with PartSelect and shipping. SO, how do I get my refund of the $107.26 for the parts that I never received!!

I simply followed the video and apart from a couple of areas that were not relevant to my model, everything went exactly as illustrated. The video is excellent and made the repair so easy.

The only issue I experienced was being short two rollers, as the parts diagram did not clearly show that there were two rollers in the back and two in the front.

A kit, with its own part number should be prepared that would show 4 rollers and belt as the recommended required parts.

It was an easy fix, I just did half the install a second time.

Followed online video very easy and dryer works like new one....

It was a lot easier then I thought. Just watch the tutorial of how to fix it on this website and you wont have a problem.

Looked it up on YouTube. It told me to take the front panel off. I did, changed the belt, put the panel back on and it works perfectly. The part came in the time it was supposed to and it was the correct part. Thanks.

Lint can build up inside the dryer, and can cause a fire in EXTREME cases. If your model has a back panel that exposes the entire chute, this job is much easier. Unscrew the chute from the machine to remove it. Inspect and clean all the lint out, especially the bottom, next to the fan blower. The other version machine has a panel at the top that is welded on. Remove the two screws at the top corner of the rear bulkhead, where the chute is. Gently pull this inner panel away to free the top of the chute from the rear top panel. Then pull the chute down and out. Follow the reverse to complete the job.

Message indicated something amiss in the motor circuit. Followed Instructions in the on-board manual. Turned out to be the internal-bias thermostat, and the exhaust air thermistor both. Changed faulty parts, cleaned lint from the system and we are off and running again.

Followed your video for replacing the Tension Pulley, Drum Belt and Drum Rollers. Models were not exact, but instructions were very clear and detailed enough for a "computer geek" to do the repair myself (with some help from my wonderful wife). Live in Ohio, parts came from Kentucky and I had them the next day! The dryer is almost 10 years old. Running great now. Thank You!

Please do not buy parts from Parts Select. My order was not shipped the next day (as advertised on the web site), but instead 3 days later. I paid an extra couple of dollars for expedited shipping, which did made no difference (except for a couple of extra dollars for Parts Select to pocket).

When I emailed customer service to complain, I never received any response. I can't believe that customer service can be so unimportant in such a competitive marketplace. And with the power of social media, you would think customer service would be a big differentiator.

I ended having to buy another part (the igniter). I found a different vendor with better prices and a commitment to satisfying customers. I got my part in 3 days for cheaper shipping than the starting point of Parts Select shipping. So I guess I should thank Parts Select for forcing me to look elsewhere because I found a better place with better prices and better shipping and better customer service!

Removed the lower front cover of the dryer. Removed the lint filter and removed the cover from the air duct by removing two 1/4" bolts. Removed the two 1/4" bolts retaining the thermistor. Installed the new thermistor and covers.

Removed rear cover (6 screws) unpluged harness from motor control and removed same. Replaced motor control reinstalled harness. Replaced rear cover. Parts used motor control board.

Watched a brief video on YouTube and followed step by step. Real easy.

Found a YouTube video with step by step instructions for disassembling a Whirlpool Duet dryer. Though not the same model as mine it was close enough. The hardest part of this repair was figuring out how to pry apart the elctrical connectors but it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. You also might want a little help taking off the door. It's not mandatory ( I'm a big guy and I managed it by myself) but having an extra pair of hands makes things easier. If you can take out screws and remember the order you took them out you should not have any problems. The actual pully assembly was held in my one bolt, easily replaced once you get access to it. If you don't want to change out the belt, removing the door is not necessary as you can get to the pully from the back side of the machine. But since you have it halfway disassembled already, you might as well go for it and not have to make a return visit. Total time including vacumning out all the lint from inside the dryer was three hours. Took my time and saved myself a few hundred dollars for sure.
