the rubber lid seal had torn and was falling off of the lid.
I removed the torn part which just pulled off of the lid and snapped in the new piece. No tools were needed. I also wanted to add that it was great doing business with Part Select. The part came well packaged, it came in a timely manner, and it was the correct part ! I will try Part Select for any of my future repair part needs.
Thank you

rubber lid cushioning strip broke
the original piece had 3 metal clips that held the strip in place. It was a matter of sliding the strip off and sliding the new replacement part on. Time involved was less than one minute. It took longer to find the part than to install it. The part was ordered Thursday night and it was installed by Monday! Great service!

The original seal on had deteriorated and was coming apart.
Really nothing to it, especially since the original seal was coming apart. I just ripped it the rest of the way apart and removed it, then slid the new one on in its place.

No problem - I've done this before. Pull the old one out (or wait for it to fall out) and pop the new one in. Very easy.

Lid Seal Was Cracked
So Easy! Just slid old one off and sled new one on. This is the rubber seal that you touch when you open the lid. I was afraid I would get the wrong part but am so glad others left notes so I could tell this was the right one. And it definitely is worth the replacement cost.
