MVWC215EW0 Maytag Washer - Instructions

First, this is the second time the transmission actuator went bad. The first-time washer was still under warrenty and I watched the tech replace it. This time warranty has expired and I'm mechanically inclined, so I ordered the part. Replacing was easy, unplug, tip washer up so you can get under it, remove plastic guard (two hex nuts) and remove actuator by removing two screws. Reverse procedure to install new actuator. The only caution I will say is when tipping washer if you have a wall to lean it against, perfect, just put something under it for saftey so it can't fall on you.

Ordered the inlet assembly from this site. Received it the day after I received the notice it shipped. Watched their video of how to replace the part. Easy job, done in 15 minutes. Only needed a screwdriver to take the cover off the back of the washer control panel. A company wanted $400 to replace the part.
Definitely recommend the company and will use again.

Made sure the inner tub was sealed on main tub and snapped back in its place. You must make sure it completely snaps down and does not come off. Listen for the locking sound, then pull with a little pressure to make sure it has locked on. Thanks for shipping the correct part as quick as you did.

Removed 5 screws on back, released 2 retention clips on front, lifted top of washer to expose lock assembly, removed 2 screws holding lock assembly in place followed electrical line back to plug behind control panel plugged new lock in, and reassembled in reverse order. Done!

I ordered a lid switch because the washer wouldn't agitate. Most reviews indicated that was the problem. While waiting for the part to arrive, I discovered the transmission to be of fault.I let parts select know that I no longer needed the part. Parts Select gave me an immediate refund no questions asked and before I returned the part to them. That is customer service!! I will use Parts Select for all my future purchases. Tip the washer on its back remove the agitator install new one under 15 minutes

Followed instructions.

Im a 58 year old single woman. Swap out of pump motor was so easy. Took less than 15 min. Ordered the part on Tuesday it came the next day. I installed it and did 4 loads of laundry.
Great company.

Replaced each hose. Did discover that either hose can be used for hot or cold water lines. No longer required to label hot and cold replacement hoses.

I turned off and disconnected the water lines (have a bucket ready) and tipped the washer on its back. I followed along with the provided video that was super helpful. Disconnecting, moving the washer, and reconnecting everything took longer than the repair. Very satisfied with this repair!

Took the Cover off and installed belt.

Unplugged, removed cold and hot lines, moved out to garage, unscrewed 3 screws on the back, lifted up the top, removed and replaced 1 suspension rod at a time with washer leaning against wall sideways, easy peasy didn’t take no time at all, moved it back in 3 screws back in place hot and cold screwed back in and walla! It worked and has been working flawlesssly..

I just drained the washer and unscrewed the 3 screws unhooked the hose clamp and installed the new one attached the hose and hose clip. Really easy. Took longer to try up water in floor than installing.

1. Unplugged the electrical cord
2. Unscrewed the plastic guard
3. Unscrewed the actuator screws
4 Unplugged the cord.
5. Replaced the olld one with the new one and reversed the order
6. Uprighted the machine
7 Performed trail run with vinegar

Replaced the water inlet valve. Easy install… figured it out on my own, but checked the instructional online video to make sure it was done right.
