Drum cracked
Repair was easy, but the part does not come with directions. It is pretty self explanatory if you are used to taking things apart and fixing them. Otherwise there are YouTube videos you can pull up. Dryer runs like it is new again though and it was way cheaper than buying a new dryer.

Dryer work but wouldn’t shut off when finished cycle, had to shutoff from breaker
With a thin flat screwdriver I was able to pry out the old door switch, I replaced it with the new door switch, pushed back in dryer and so far is working since I installed a month ago.

HST code given by dryer
Called LG on the phone and they gave the button presses for diagnostics, which then gave the HST code, saying the Humidity sensor was bad.
The part was described as the Humidity sensor module. Actually it's just the wire leads for the sensor which must be electronic and only accessible by disassembling the dryer. There were descriptions about cleaning the wires, perhaps because some people use dryer sheets which cause a buildup on the wires and prevent them from doing their job. I use wool balls and have no buildup on my wires and replacing them did not fix the sensor, because the module accessible inside the dryer is not the moisture sensor, but only the wire leads.

Dryer was making a terrible sound.
An appliance repairman determined the problem which was that it needed new pulleys and thankfully PartSelect carried them. He installed them in an hour and my dryer runs fine now.

Dryer turned off quickly with clothes still wet
Unscrewed the sensor cover, which on this model also holds the lint filter in plas. Then pulled the old sensors from their plug-ins. The new sensors easily slipped into the holder, and then replugged to the wires. The whole assembly screwed back into place. One note of caution: the flap where the filter slides in goes inside the cover, it's default is not upright, and be careful to not allow the inside spring for the cover to come off, or you might chase it!

Had an issue with the dryer not drying the clothes in the allotted time and turning the dryer off. I knew it was still getting heat so I googled the issue with suggestions.
I watched a YouTube video with how to take the dryer apart and remove the sensors. I followed the what the instructions were removing the top of the dryer and then the front panel. Once that was removed it was a matter of removing 7 more screws and the lint collector piece came off. Popped the sensor pieces out. Cleaned the inside of the dryer and reinstalled a total of 5 parts and dryer is working fine and the clothes are drying in the allotted time it use to take.

Loud rhythmic knocking sound
You will need a helper. Dismantle the Dryer: Remove the screws that hold the top cover, front control panel, front door and front panel. Release the V-Belt under the drum. Remove the Drum. Removed and replace the 2 Front roller assemblies - these were completely worn. Replaced the 2 rear rollers (did not replace the rear roller axels as these were more difficult to remove and they were in good shape) and the V-Belt while I had the whole thing open. Use a shop vac and cleaned up the whole unit. It is so nice and quiet now.

My lint filter had a tear.
After trying duct tape to fix the tear, I decided to see if I could just order a new one. Part Select was the first company I found listed, so I ordered one. It was not expensive and it was delivered very quickly! It works so well s as me I’m a very happy customer!
