11047797800 Kenmore Washer - Instructions

There are three screws in the back panel at the very top. I unscrewed them with a T25 driver tip and pulled the top panel off the machine, the water level pressure switch was located in the right rear corner of the washer. ( If you are facing the washer) I pulled off the hose and unplugged the old switch, popped the switch out, and snapped the new one in re-attached the plug and hose, put the top panel back on and the three screws back in! All in about fifteen minutes. My washer works like new.

I just put the divider in the dispencer

Remove the two screws holding the hinge to the washer body. Lift up on the hinge to remove from the washer. Remove all the screws holding the inner door piece to the outer cover. Remove the old hinge, replace with the new one. Put the two door pieces back together and tighten the screws. Place hinge back in on the washer body and push down. Replace screw at top and bottom. Close door and start using.

It was real easy. I disconnected the wiring as shown in the video. I took the clamps off the drain pump , once off I slid the old drain pump off. I slid the new pump on , attached the hoses with the clamp provided and connected the wiring. Just follow the video and you will find it to be very easy! Thanks Parts Select for saving me money

Replaced the pump assembly. The different type of clamp supplied in the kit was very helpful.

It was a little difficult to put the new Bellow in place on the tub, due to the fact you have to basically push the outside of the Bellow all the way into the tub so you can install the tub clamp. The other difficult part of the task was tightening up the clamp it's self. There really isn't a lot of room to move your hand around in the space you are given to work. But after a few hand cramps and a few things said, that are not needing repeated, I was able to get the clamp tight. Once you have the clamp on the tub, it's basically pretty simple to slide everything else into place. The wire/spring clamp that is used to attach the Bellow to the front of the washer is fairly simple to put into place with a little patience. All in all it was a cheep and easy repair for a due-it-your self repair.

I was already very familiar with the motor & drain pump, as I had disassembled my original one in attempt to find the problem & fix it. Finally, I broke down & purchased a new one. It was VERY easy to install! The most difficulty was finding the right sized board to put underneath & raise the machine up (with the dryer attached to the top of it) to place the board underneath so that I could tighten the bolts from underneath to attach the pump. After that was over, the rest was cake! Just attach the hoses & the electrical, which just clips in place & my washer is like new again! Yay! Oh, and yes, I'm a woman DIY'er.

We purchased a new pump and installed it very easily. My washer works great!

Remove top (held on with 3 screws on the back). Pressure switch is at the back right side. Remove rubber hose. Gently pry switch from side of machine. Remove electrical connection. Install electrical connection on new switch. Snap back into side of machine. Replace top. This was installed a couple of weeks ago and have not had either code since

Just use the video. Shows you all you need to know. Very easy. Do it yourself and it saves you money.

I used the video at parts select as a review, then just followed it. Easy de-install, reminder there's water in the line be prepared with a pot or vase to hold the water. Easy install. Washer runs perfect now. As quiet as when we bought it. I always try to fix before I re-buy, not a big green guy but I try to keep stuff working and out of land fills. Also the part was at my door in 1 day, Awsome!.

After unplugging the washer, the unit was pulled forward and tipped backwards, I placed a 2x4 under the washer to serve as a brace. I removed the existing bolts holding the old pump in place, removed the spring hose clams, unplugged the pump and removed the damaged part. inserted the new drain pump, re-inserted the bolts and tightened them, replaced the spring clamps with "regular" hose clamps supplied with the replacement part, plugged in the power supply, removed the brace, pushed back the unit and plugged it into the outlet. From start to finish - about 20 minutes. Was running wash about a half hour after I started.

My dryer is on top my washer so I removed the dryer and pulled the washer out. I had to get rid of the water that was inside so I used my wet vacuum on the drain hose and sucked it out I then removed the front cover and the I tipped it back and removed two screws from the bottom of the pump bracket underneath the washer and moved the two clams on the pump hoses back to uncouple the hoses. I removed the pump and installed the new one and hocked everything back including the wires to the pump which is just a quick connect and pushed it back into place and it worked like new
