dryer would not spin
Removed old shock abs. (both sides). The one side, I had to remove the speed control board to access the lower nut on the one shock. Install was fairly easy however, it did not fix the washer. Apparently there was something else (either a switch, the control board or the motor) needs replaced too.

The door to my front-loading washing machine would not lock because the door catch was broken.
I simply removed the two screws holding the existing (broken) catch and replaced the old with the new in less than 5 minutes. It could not have been easier.
I would alsolike to note that I was VERY pleased with how simple it was to find the correct part and with how quickly the part arrived at my door. I will definitely refer PartSelect to anyone who may need a new appliance part.

Broken door catch
It was so easy to replace. I called a local appliance store and they wanted approx $105.00 to rush the part or $95 to have it shipped from the east coast...I went on your website and with delivery the cost was $16.07. I was thrilled...the existing screws were in very tight so all I needed was an electric screw driver.

Door catch broke
First removed the existing screws by using a drill with screwdriver bit (thanks to Cathy from Mountainview CA for that suggestion) because was unable to remove them otherwise. New piece does not come with screws, so save your screws. The new piece had a burr that kept it from fitting in, but was easily filed off. Then no problems. Ordered on Sunday, arrived on Thursday with regular shipping. Excellent!
