washing machine stuck on drain cycle
Siphon break kit keeps washing machine from continuing to siphon after rinse/cycle -- like emptying a pool with a hose. Fixed the problem of the tub never filling due to siphon draining out water as it's being put in.

Dripping water inlet valve
Prepare:
Before you start turn off the hot and cold water supply. Then remove the supply lines from the back of the washer. You may want a bucket to catch any remaining water in the supply lines.

Replace water inlet valve:
First, remove screws from upper back plate to release the control panel and the washer top.

Second, slide washer top to the front of the washer about 1/2 - 1 inch. This will allow you to raise the washer top.

Third, from underneath the washer top release the control panel by disengaging the locking clips near the back of the control panel.

Fourth, lay the top back in to the forward position and hinge the control panel from back to front. This will release the control panel.

Fifth, Disengage the wire harness for the control non. And remove the control panel completely.

Sixth, remove the wiring harness from the water inlet valve located on the left hand side, the. Remove the screws holding the valve in place.

Seventh, Install new valve, reconnect all of the wiring harnesses, reconnect the control Bob wire harness, and reinstall the control panel. It should click into place just as it came out.

Eighth, Slide the washer top back into place. Reinstall the back plate and screws.

Finish:
Finally reinstall the supply lines and turn on the water.

Needed to extend drain hose to reach drain
Ordered drain hose extender. It uses a rubber flange with hose clip to attach to washer's plastic hose. When tightened, the hose clip crushes the plastic hose and crimps it, causing a leak. My solution was to find a copper pipe flange that was the same diameter as the interior of the plastic hose to act as a bushing for the plastic hose. The hose clip could then be tightened without deforming the hose. Worked great with no leaks.

The wash plate cap was broken and had to be replaced.
I used a small flat head screwdriver inserted into slots just under the cap and pried off the cap. The cap should come off very easy.
Replace with the new cap.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you
