Seal torn on washer
Removed the front face of washer (broke the plastic pieces on face-no big deal). Had to remove the front housing piece to remove the inner clamp then remove seal. Aligned the new seal up and worked backwards making sure all screws were tightened down. Not super hard, but breaking the plastic pieces wasn't fun.

The latch was broken so that the front door wouldn't close.
I followed the guy on the video. The only parts that were tough was having the right tools and having enough space to put the new part in. The part was only 70 dollars and I was so proud that I could do it. I am not very handy so if I can do it then anyone can. Plus I saved some money!

Odd noise when the spin cycle started, water would not drain, D5 error.
The washer comes up with the D5 error if either the door is not shut correctly, or it can not detect that the washer is drained. I had to put the washing machine on its side to access the bottom. There is an access hole that you can get the pump from. I unplugged the pump, then removed the bolts to take it out. The pump comes apart with a few screws removed. I saw that the magnet inside was broken in half. Putting a new pump back in solved the issue.

drain pump runs continuously
Checked owners manual for diagnostics. Pointed to door lock mechanism, so we replaced. didnt work. Went online to Just Answers.com, chatted with pro named Mike(for the fee of $25) and without getting full description, he told me to replace pressure sensor. Bought one here for $50, replaced it, and still the problem lingered. Called a real Technician to the house, for $90, and he spent 4 minutes looking and tapping, and voilla, it worked. Turns out it was a stuck relay on the control board, and the tapping loosened it. He told me I may have trouble with it in the future. If so, I would buy one here. Thanks

Outside door broke at hinge on front load washer
Service repair tech ordered the outside door part and the door safety piece. (plastic shield that covers the glass inside door.) Outside door piece came in within week. Could not get other part in (backordered). Found online and had it within 4 days. Two screws hold hinge on to washer front. After removing hinge screws, pick up on door to clear the tabs on back of hinge through the tab holes in the back hinge brace. (This does not have to be removed. After removing door, unscrewed all screws in back of door to disassemble. Removed hing from hinge slots on door front and inserted into new door hinge slots. Snapped new door safety onto back of new door front by aligning tabs on door safety and outer door piece. Replaced glass bowl and door back by replacing screws in screw holes and tighten. Reattached door by inserting tabs on back of hinge into tabs on washer front and tightening hinge screws.

The message d5 was blinking
I had noticed the latch on door was split so I ordered the latch, but before I could put it on, the latch on the front of washer was locked. I then looked at the messages from others on this site for help. My daughter and I unscrewed the 2 screws on the top back, removed top, pulled the control panel up, unscrewed the front, unscrewed the 3 screws for latch, pulled old one out. I located the part, ordered it and got it in 2 days! Put new latch in and screwed everything back the way it was and in 15 minutes, the washer is running! (I am a woman too!)

Coins sheared impeller blades
Coins sheared the impeller blades from the pump. I disconnected the power, removed the back panel, with pliers slide the hose clamp off the hose and remove hose...you will drain water from both hoses when removed (if washer is full of water be prepared for it all to drain)remove 2nd hose clamp and hose, with a 1/2 socket remove the 3 mounting bolts, and disconnect the power line from the pump remove old pump from mounting plate. Install new pump in reverse order.

Coin in drain pump
Took the two screws out of the access panel on the back of the washer. Drain pump was just inside the access panel. Unplug electrical plug from pump. Take the clamps off the hoses and disconnect hoses. ( Lay towels inside around pump to catch excess water) Take a ratchet, extension, & socket and unscrew bolts from washer base. Unscrew pump from bracket. Put old bracket on the new pump and assemble everything back together opposite of instructions. Very easy fix. Thanks parts select. U saved my family time and a lot of money on repairs.

Door opened too far and broke plastic door ring.
After determining and obtaining replacement part, I used a No.2 Phillips screwdreiver and removed the door and hinge by removing the two flatheat screws that secure the door and hinge to the washer. After removing the screws, the door hinge is still attached to the washer because the hinge assembly has hooks that hold it in place. To physically remove the door, lift up on the door by holding the bottom of the door and the bottom of the hinge and lifting.Lay the door on its face on a solid surface covered by a towel or similar soft cover. Remove all of the screws holding the inside ring to the outside ring. Before removing the inside ring, pay attention top the orientation of the hinge. Lift off the inside ring then the hinge. Be sure to keep the four white plastic caps on the hinge and set the ring and hinge aside. pay attention to the orientation of the glass inside cover and outer plactic cover as it will be easier to reassemble. If you forget, there are notches to realign the glass and plastic. replace the broken outer door ring, lay in the outer plastic cover, the glass cover and the hinge (w/plastic caps). Then reinstall the indise door ring and snug in the screws. Reinstall the door on the washer by inserting the hooks on the hinge into the slots on the washer. Finally reinstall the two flathead screws to secure the door. Your're done.
