Purchased spanner wrench for tub nut wouldn’t budge, impacted off. Then spin tub took 2days to get loose, lots of WD40 , also heated up center area, used a small sledgehammer head to hit a socket on the large part of the shaft . Had to take out outer tub to replace seal and support bearing unit.

Originally I thought that the Start switch was the issue, and ordered one. After taking the machine apart and running some tests, the issue was clearly not this switch, but a different switch that cuts power when the belt tension is no longer being applied to the idler pulley spring. I fixed this by bypassing this switch, which in my opinion, is error prone and serves no purpose. The switch can be accessed by removing the control panel, then top cover, then front cover, then drum. The bogus switch is screwed to the bottom left, near the motor. The idler pulley spring rests against it. Just disconnect the switch wires, then clip, strip and crimp then together to bypass the switch, and voila! Now if the belt breaks or comes off the pulley, the motor will continue to run, but you wont hear the wet clothes flopping around, so that will be the indication that you have a belt problem. UNPLUG the dryer. I removed the top panel by removing the two screws at the top of the dryer door. There are some hooks toward the back of the top panel, so you'll need to slide it to the left to get it off. The front panel needs to be removed by removing two screws just inside the top left and right corners. Lift and set it aside. I didn't disconnect the door wiring, but you can if you need to do so. I just spun the front panel to the left and out of the way. With the drum exposed, I confirmed the belt was broken. I replaced the belt, then the front panel and top panel. While I was inside the dryer, I did a through cleaning with the vacuum to get all the lint.

easy to fix took less than 10 minutes

I removed the top cover and the back cover to install new belt.
Once i put new belt i discovered that the pulley was also broken so now i have order the pulley so that i can complete the repair

the pulley spring took so much pressure to hold it down it took 3 men and a boy to hold it and place it in position to to get the belt on. Also there is not enough room to get your arms and hands in without getting some small cuts.Ultimately I removed the screws in the back of the dryer and spread the side of the dryer out to gain proper access. It was an easy repair if the spring would not have been so strong.

First I replaced the timer, but dryer still did not start. took apart dryer, jumper out door and componet near motor to see what problem was and to be able to run dryer while opened up. Actually motor had seized up just enough to not allow motor to start rotating. Lubricated motor shaft and rotated motor for oil to work its way in. Tried starting again and motor started. Buttoned dryer back up and reconnected wires to appropriate places and started dryer again and again.Worked for 4 loads of laundry and still working for 3 loads on Wednesday. Working fine

Open the door and removed the part. Installed the new part and started the dryer.

Ensure washer drum is empty of water before attempting repair. Disconnect the power to the appliance. Remove the front washer panel (a metal putty knife if needed to unlock the two upper tabs which releases the panel). Locate the existing drain pump at the bottom of the unit. Disconnect the two wires from the drain pump motor (one orange, one black/white). A pair of pliers and a gentle pull should do it. Using a small ratchet and socket, loosen and remove the two bolts that secure the drain pump to the bottom panel of the washer. Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the factory hose clamp on the large drain tube that connects the pump to the drum and remove the hose from the pump, being careful to capture any residual water from the drum. A towel is helpful to absorb the water. Repeat for the smaller discharge drain tube located on the side of the pump. Once both tubes are disconnected, remove the old pump. Install the new pump and reconnect everything in reverse order. Connect the small drain tube to the side of the pump. Connect the large drain tube from the drum. Ensure the clamps are properly secured. Insert and hand-tighten the two bolts that secure the pump to the bottom panel of the washer, making sure the bolts are snug but being careful not to overtighten. Reconnect the two wires to the motor. Restore power to the appliance. Run a quick wash cycle to ensure pump is working correctly and check for any water leaks. When satisfied, reinstall and secure the front washer panel.
