I had no problem
I used a flat-head screw driver to lift the main lid up off the washer to get to the washer lid safety switch..Unplug the plug from the electrical outlet. Removed the 4 wires from the switch, and removed 2 screws to remove the old switch..Then install the new safety switch in reverse order.

Removing old felt and glue
After removing the old drum glide there was tufts of felt and glue left behind. The DIY video (which inspired me to try this repair myself) says to use a scraper and wire brush to clean the drum edge. I decided to try a drill with a wire wheel. Worked great. The surface was shining clean in minutes.

Clothes were getting stuck between machine body and drying drum, also there was a squeeking and a noise that sounded as if something was clanking around, like a coin.
I watched the great easy to follow video from PartSelect. Absolutely nothing unclear. I was able to open the top and disconnect the front panel in less than 10 minutes! Removed the old felt drum glide, scraped off any stuck felt and loose glue. Then glued the new pad in place, using 3 small clamps, like clothes pins. Let it set for about 15 minutes then put it all back together! I did forget to reattach the ground wire, so I had to open the lid back up for that. About 50 minutes total. Also I took the opportunity of having the front panel off to give the inside a good vacuuming, not a ton of lint but enough to go ahead and clean it out! Thanks for the help!

Dryer Belt Squealing
I followed the provided video precisely. Made the job quite easy. My only problem is I'm 6'2", 275 lbs. with bad knees. Can't go at it exactly as shown in the video because I can't squat down in front of the dryer without pain. Called in a neighbor of smaller stature for him to come from one side, and me from the other. Worked flawlessly. Video is excellent. I do recommend wearing gloves and/or long sleeve shirt. I cut up my arms a bit, but that could have been easily avoided.

clothes getting stuck in drum and leaving brown marks on them
I want to suggest that you also purchase the lower drum seal or guide as well. When I took it apart I realized I needed it also.

Clothes were getting trapped at edge of drum and were being burned.
Pulled dryer forward for access. Raised top by pressing clips on front. Removed front panel 2 screws. Removed old felt flange with plastic guides. Cleaned surface of old glue. Dried. apply cement per instructions applied new felt. New fit was snug and required some manipulation. When in place it helped to hold felt until cured. works great. Would not have known what problem was without the videos @ Part Select. Thanx for info and part. David
