Broken control knob
Pulled off the broken control knob (which was really easy, since it was already broken.) Aligned the new knob to the knob shaft which is shaped like a "D", pushed it onto shaft until it was fully seated. Very easy install!!GT

Washer flooded my laundry room!
Pried the front cover off the washer and then rotated the tub around for easier access to the hose clamp. Used screwdriver on hose clamp then detached spring clamp from pump inlet. Reversed the procedure for repair!

Had a small water leak gettin into the drip pan.
Popped the front cover off and found a small hole was in the drain hose going to the pump, used pliers for one clamp and nut driver for the other clamp, removed bad hose and installed the new hose, ran water pump after putting some water in the tub, checked for leaks, put the front cover back on,that was it.

Leaking hose (had a rip in it)
First I had to remove the front cover to the washer.
Then it was just a matter of using the nut driver to loosen the clamp holding the hose to the tub portion, and a channel lock for the clip on the drain pump. Pull the old hose out, do the same thing vise versa for the install... Only hard part was the clamp on the drain pump was being a little difficult (but no big deal).

Washed my daughter's toys and broke the agitator
Unpacked the agitator from the box. Manually pulled off the old agitator and snapped on the new one. Total repair time was under 2 mins. Much better than a $120 service call.

Plastic knob had worn and would not turn dial
Removed old knob. Inspected timer and dial. At first it looked like I would need 3 parts Knob, dial and timer. Timer and dial were back orderd and knob was shipped. After I recieved the knob I tried it and the problem was solved. Part select canceled the rest of the order and credited it back to my charge card. Great customer service!

Non-agitation
My washing machine would not agitate. I looked online for the possible repair solutions under GE website. All I needed was my model number. I typed in the model number and it gave me possible solutions. I ordered the parts from part select. Once they came in, I then went online to find video of how to repair the machine. When I found the video I needed I began disassembling my machine. I pulled the agitator off with a brisk tug and used my socket wrench to unscrew the coupler nut. Once that was off, I installed the new coupler tightened the bolt and installed the agitator. I filled the machine enough for a small load and sure enough, it worked! I did not need to use the belt, but I will have it on hand if I need to. I saved on separate shipping. VERY PLEASED!

Knob would turn but not advance cycles.
I followed the video instructions and it was a piece of cake! I was reluctant because usually my "fix it" projects never go as easy as it's supposed to. lol This was REALLY easy. I have recommended this website to several people and will use it again if I have to replace other parts.
