smelt rubber burning, diagnosed it as a belt
Turns out it wasn't the belt. The belt was fine, worked without water, replaced in washer spot, reconnected water, worked fine. Put clothes in, wouldn't agitate, smelt burning again.

Start knob on dryer broken
There really is not much to explain, the new knob was so simple to replace that my six year old could have done it. No tools were required and it took less than a minute to replace the new knob.

Water leaking out of the bottom of the washer
I own a vacation rental two hours from my home. Our guests
said that there was water coming out from under the washer.
I called our local handyman Lolo who is very bright. He came
over and looked at the washer and saw that a plastic part was leaking. He got on your website and put the part number in and we had our part within two or three days of ordering it.
I was impressed by your having this older part-maybe 15 year old washer, the fast delivery since we didn't do it by rush order. I also didn't have to hire an expensive repair service company. We are back in business thanks to your quick service and delivery. We will use you again in the future for sure.
Best Regards,

A load imbalance caused one of the four yokes to break in two.
I had to tilt the machine to gain access to the screw that holds the yoke bracket in place. Then I removed the one screw that holds the yoke bracket and removed the yoke and it's cushion. I then had to remove the two friction pads from the old yoke and install them on the new yoke. I was able to re-use the old yoke cushion and after re-assembling the yoke and cushion, I installed this assembly with the one screw. Righted the machine and the job was done.

Once I found your web page things went very smoothly and quickly. It was exactly what I wanted and it even came a day early. Obviously, no problem with the repair just put the knob in place.

Dryer knobs were cracked and would not turn.
Before I bought the new knobs, I put nail glue inside each knob to strengthen the knobs. It lasted for about 6 mos and I would have to do it again. Needless to say I got tired of the broken knobs, so I bought new ones.

Dry would not work, knobs were stripped and did not turn properly.
Yes, we should have done this a long time ago and put off replacing the starter knob and heat adjuster knob. By the time they no longer worked, we called in an expensive repairman. When we realized what the problem was, we thanked him, paid him lots of money and did what we should have all along - replaced the knobs throug partsselect.com instead of using the repairman for another $150.00.

We received the knobs within 3 days (paying for medium fast delivery was worth it) and simply pulled the old problem knobs off and put the other ones on. Simple, no brainer work.

Save yourself expensive repairs and replace those knobs when they start going. Also, when you test the machine, make sure you turn the setting to a time (stupid mistake that most of us do) to make sure that the knobs work properly.

Good luck. A terrific experience with Partselect.com. Would use again in the future and recommend to others.
