removed three screws from back panel used putty knife to remove front panel and dampening strap were there to remove.

First tried pulling the old agitator out by hand but couldn't get my fingers under it to pull upward. Tried several times but no success. Finally put two metal rods about 8 inches long in the holes in the bottom of the agitator and used them to lift upward, it came up immediately. I then pushed the new agitator down into the slot and it was finished. There is always a way when you think about it.you are a winner.

Took new one out of package, and push it on. 4 seconds!

Pullout the old hose and put in the. New hose. Did it myself, and I'm a 58 yr old female. Easy,easy.

Removed the softener despenser by pulling it straight up, then did the same with the agitator, except I had to turn it a little then pull straight up.

We pulled out the old parts and then we got the new parts and we put them in,

Removed front panal & operate to see leak origion. Found the side of the pump cracked and split. Part Select sent the exact replacement part! Unplug washer. Remove ront panal; using a putty knife and a bit of preasure at the two release clips. Using pliers or small vise grips, squeeze hose clamps and locate back out of the way and remove two hoses. Have a shallow pan below to catch remainig water. Unhook the electric connections, taking note of where. Using nut driver or small ratchet, remove the two mounting screws and pump. I used new screw type hose clamps in lieu of the originals.

Was easy. Removed pump, ordered yours and replaced

1. Remove the main knob by pulling out the plastic pin with a pliers and/or screwdriver
2. Remove control housing cover (held by torx screws)
3. Unhook wiring harness from old timer
4. Remove bolt that secures the timer
5. Remove old timer
6. Install new timer, reversing the above instructions

My washing machine would not agitate. I looked online for the possible repair solutions under GE website. All I needed was my model number. I typed in the model number and it gave me possible solutions. I ordered the parts from part select. Once they came in, I then went online to find video of how to repair the machine. When I found the video I needed I began disassembling my machine. I pulled the agitator off with a brisk tug and used my socket wrench to unscrew the coupler nut. Once that was off, I installed the new coupler tightened the bolt and installed the agitator. I filled the machine enough for a small load and sure enough, it worked! I did not need to use the belt, but I will have it on hand if I need to. I saved on separate shipping. VERY PLEASED!

My wife calls me and says that the washer is not draining water so I was like "great"...here goes more money. After I tried draining, cleaning, checking for leaks, I looked up possible causes and came across the water pump. I have bought from parts select and I love this website so I jumped on here, found the causes, diagram, installation videos, and cheap parts. Added to cart, paid, and was here in about two days. I disconnected the electricity, opened the front lid, took off the two hoses, unscrewed the pump, swapped in the new one and hooked it back up. The washer works like new, took me about 10 minutes. removed back off washer, disconnected pump from washer tub, remove old pump in about 5 min, then installed new pump in less than 5 min. washer is working just fine wife thank me it was about 2 wks since the washer was down.
