Broken hinge on the lid
Exactly like the video told me to! Seriously, I watched once when I ordered the parts, watched it again just before I started the job, and played each step as I completed that step. It simply could not have been easier. Without the video, I doubt I could have located and released the latches on the top of the washer, but seeing not only where he put the knife but the motion he used to spring them made that step so much easier than I thought it would be. With your help, I only paid a quarter of what the repairman wanted to make this simple fix -- Thank you!

Lid hinge was broken on the washer lid
I followed the instructions on your video - it was very helpful! I would have never figured out how to take the top off without the video instructions. I released the top latches using the putty knife, removed the broken lid hinge & pin and installed the new ones.

Broken hinge on washer lid.
Don't get unhinged by this easy repair. Easily ordered on line and got the part in two days. The only hard part was the screw was inside up under the washer body and not visible. I had to use an "s" shaped screw driver to take out and put in one screw due to the small work space.

Hinges for the lid were broken
The repair went smoothly with no issues or problems. The video link sent with the receipt made all the difference in the world. I watched the video on my iPad as I was doing the repair. Also locating the parts I needed on the part select website could not have been simpler.

Lid on washmachine was loose. Found that one of the plastic hinge pins had broken.
Ordered two new hinge pins as well as hinges. (Did not want to have to deal with it again so chose a full change out.) Watched a U-Tube video that described how to change out the hinges. The trick is find out how to lift the top panel on the washer to access the screws that anchor the hinges. Use a putty knife and slide it into the space between the top panel and the front panel. Got the job done today in an hour or so. Chose to also wipe out the top of the wash tub at the same time so it took a bit longer. Works fine now. Just like new.

Lid hinge pin broke
The videos included in the shipping notification email made the repair a breeze. The only thing not shown was (at least on my washer) that the screws that needed to be removed had torex heads instead of normal slot or phillips heads. Luckily my tool crib had what I needed.

The lid hinges on our washer had broken off the pins and both needed to be replaced.
The first thing we did was to lift the top of the washer off the main box by unscrewing the hinges at the back of the washer. We then were able to access the lid hinge screws located underneath the lid. We unscrewed and removed the old hinges from the washer, lifting the lid off the washer. Then we were able to unscrew and remove the old hinges from the lid itself. We then screwed on the new hinges and pins, and reattached the lid to the washer. Finally we put the top back on the main box of the washer and screwed the top back onto the main assembly, and voila! It works great and saved us $200 in repairs.

was really easy. I watched the video and was done in less than 10 minutes. I read other stories and pushing the tub over and removing and installing the screws would have been very difficult. Opening the lid was very easy then the screws are right there in front of you.
