Lid Hinge Pin had broken
I replaced both the pin and the hinge. The old screws did not fit these parts nor did either of the parts fit the other part although they were almost identical. Screws should be included with the parts as these are supposed to be replacements. Do not try to order only a pin or a hinge without the other. Delivery was very quick.

Door Hinge Pin Was Broken
Viewing the video on how to replace the hinge pin was very helpful orienting me on how to get the job done. As I viewed the video, I thought to myself, "It couldn't be that easy!" Once I received the part in the mail, which was received quickly, I followed the video instructions in finished the repair in 5 minutes. It was a great experience and gave me a new online parts distributor that I will use in the future since I am a born "Do it Yourselfer." Thanks.

One of my hingepins on the lid broke off.
I used a putty knife to depress the holding clips under the front of the lid, then raised the lid to access the screws . Using a phillips head screwdriver I removed the screws holding the hinges and removed the door/lid then after removing the screw holding the broken pin, removed and replaced it with the new pin. and reinstalled the two screws on the hinges to reinstall the lid, and snapped the top back down. The whole thing took me less than 10 minuites to accomplish.

Hinge Pin was broken.
I watched the video first. It was correct except for the tool was not a phillips screwdriver, but a torx drive. Rounding up the tools took the longest. Everything else was just like in the video.

Lid Hinge Pin Broke in half
Easy to remove broken part. Found rust, so after cleaning I applied paint (I let dry overnight).
By manipulating the washer drum, moving left and right, the screws were easy to get to. However, to get the screws back in took tightening by strong hands. Plus, found that the lid sensor had worn out, so that was adjusted.
New screws would probably make the job easier.
All is fantastic and I found it was "easy" to replace with finishing help from strong hands.

Bearings in mechanical pump seized.
Unbolt old pump with three bolt from top of pump inside the washer. Use needlenose pliers to remove intake and output hoses from old pump. Remove belt from pulley under washer. Reverse procedure to install. I was worried because there were two pumps listed for this model number, one being $95 and the other being $40. I bought the cheaper one and prayed. It worked just fine. Fixed a $500 washer that was on it's way to the dump and made $100 in the process!

Water Selector Broken
Removed back panel with nut driver and screw driver. Took a picture of the switch I was going to replace. Moved all the wires connected to broken switch to new switch. Using nut driver removed broken switch and attached new switch. Placed Knob on the front of new switch and tested it. Replaced back panel.

Hinge Assembly snapped off after years of use.
I had my son remove all of the old hardware with an allen-key wrench. He then proceeded to install the new hardware. Fisrt he installed the pins on the lid. Next, he installed the hinges to the washer, leaving each hinge loose. Finally adjusting the lid until the screws for the hinges were completely tightened.

Lid hinge broken
I popped the clips on both sides of the top with the putty knife. Raised the lid. Unscrewed the one screw on the old hinge. Screwed on the new.
It took a PhD in hinge replacement to do this.

I had a broken hinge that caused the lid to come off every time we used washer.
I had to pop the top of the washer which is hinged in back. Raised it up and removed old hinges. replaced "hinges and hinge pins. It works like new.
Thanks for your "website". It was very easy finding the parts I needed.
Sincerely
Bill Hines

Due to aging of the plastic, the hinge pins snapped and the lid came loose.
Once the machine was unplugged, I used the paint scraper to release the top of the washer by inserting it at right front and left front about two inches from the sides. The spring clip's were released and the top swung back on the rear clips . The lid hinges were exposed , removed and replaced with the the screws from the original parts, "as they do not" come with the replacement parts.
"Replacing first one side" then taking the lid and replacing the parts (pivot parts) attaching the- 2nd lid hinge piece at this time as they will not go together in any other fashion. Snap thewasher top down to close. I would suggest spraying a little silicon spray occaisonally, to avoid the parts failing prematureily. All told about 20 min. to do the job. Don't forget to plug in the washer!

Lid to wash tub was completely broken off (bought it that way - got it cheap because of this).
Remove two screws holding a special clip on the back of the washing machine (near top- one on each side). Top of washing machine pops off now by prying front edge up (2 snap type clips hold front edge of top down). Once top is loose just pivot it up on edge so you can get to the bottom side of it (don't have to remove the wires etc. as they are long enough for this). Remove one screw in each hinge half located on bottom side of washing machine top and remove old hinge half from top. Remove broken hinge halves from door to washing machine by removing one screw from each one. Put new hinge halves together and fasten to door. Then set entire hinge/door assembly on washing machine top and screw to top as an assembly. Snap top of washing machine back down on front of machine and put clips/screws back in on back of machine.
