Oven door would not stay completely closed and the light would come on.
First we had to take the oven door off, which proved a bit tricky. There was a release pin which was hard to find and release. Then we had to unscrew the screws and take the glass and inside of the door off to access the spring hinges. Replacing the hinges was pretty easy, as was reassembling the door. The door snapped back into place and voila! the door stayed shut.

oven wouldn't heat after self-cleaning the oven
The website and diagram of my oven helped me know exactly what was wrong and where to locate the problem. I simply removed the oven door and the trim, pulled the oven out of the wall. After removing the back panel I located the part and put in the new part. Then reversed the procedure.

Broiler Element quit working
Scarey> First thing you should do is cut off the electricity at the main breaker box. I dam near blowed myself up. It's 220Volt I found out after all hell blew up in my face. I was lucky and didn't get shocked.I shorted out the old broiler element.
So I made the job real easy I called a professional to come install the new broiler element.
I suggest you put a big red paper in each box that says turn off the power first. If your not sure how to do that call a pro.

Oven door would not close completely
Removed door per manual instructions, then disassembled door components until I could remove the hinges. Nothing wrong with either one visually but, hoping the springs had become weak over time, I ordered replacements from PartSelect, knnowing I had a 30-day return window if my diagnosis was wromg.
It was right. Door now closes just fine.

every time I would try to do the self clean mode on my drop in range the thermostat blows. Last time it was still under warranty. I took the part number from the repair man's invoice to order the new part.
My husband took the back off and replaced it. The repairman suggested pulling the range out into the floor to run the self clean mode. I have owned several such ranges and have never had to do that and won't now. Easy Clean Oven Cleaner will be the next thing I use.

Oven door did not close all the way, oven would not work
Gas Oven would not work without door shutting all the way. New hinges fixed the problem! Removing Superba oven door was the challege. Kitchenaid has their manuals available online which you can look up using the model # available on side of oven door. It contained instructions for door removal which required two pins (one in each hinge) inserted in the hinge holes for the door to release when you pull up and out on it. Nails may be used to replace the pins but the tricky part is removing the nails from the old hinges to remove them from slots in oven door. I used a 12 inch piece of small PVC pipe as a lever, inserting the pipe on the exposed portion of the hinge. This released the nails. The oven door must be taken apart which required removal of screws on the inside face, top and bottom of oven door. It went easily back together and the problem was solved.

Door no longer closed tight
Once we figured out to use small allen wrenches in the small holes of the hinge to enable us to lift the door off everything went smoothly. Took out six screws, lifted out the hinges - inserted new ones, replaced screws and replaced door. Yipee

Oven stopped heating and showed fault codes
After 22 years the oven stopped heating in the middle of a meal prep. The fault code was F3 oven temperature problem. I googled the codes and found PartSelect described the problem and the repair and part needed. I received the oven sensor part, then turned off the power, used a screwdriver to remove 2 screws (had to find the right size flat head screwdriver to fit the square holed screws and they were pretty baked on after 22 years of use), gently pulled the sensor and wiring through the back of the oven. I used a needle-nose plier to pull the plastic connector through the insulation, then unsnapped the connector, snapped in the new sensor connector and pushed it back through the oven wall. Pretty simple repair, took me longer to find the screw driver than the actual repair.
Thank you PartSelect for making it easy and saving me a repairman visit!

Oven would not heat
1. Disconnect AC power 2. Remove back with several sheet metal screws. 3. Remove wires from Limit Thermostat. 4. Check Limit Thermostat continuity -- if open then Limit Thermostat is faulty. 5. Remove Limit Thermostat with two screws. 6. Install new thermostat
