broiler element burned out, but stove is 20 yrs old, and I like it
The only problem we had was hanging on to the small screws that held the element up. No power screw drivers, so it took a little while to keep a hold of those screws. Considering we are 87 and 84 we feel great that we were able to replace both the bottom element and the broiler. I like the stove, and preferred not to shop for a new one. Oven knob was cracked and breaking.
I was able to locate the exact part needed to make my older oven work like new again. Thanks for the great online source for hard to find parts. All I had to do was remove the old one and replace it with th new one. It fit perfectly.

Burned Out Baking Element
Simple to unscrew the 2 screws holding the element to the back of the oven. Unclip the wires.

Bake element melted through
Unscrewed the two screws holding the rear plate of the element. Pulled the element out far emough to reach the plugs on each side. Disconnected the plugs and plugged in the new element. Put the screws back in and it was ready to go. This was the second replacement in the last five years.

Lightning cooked the element
turn off the oven breaker - unscrew both sides of element, pull through holes & remove wire ends. Replace with new element, reversing procedure - turn on breaker & you're good to go.

Bottom Baking Burner Went Out
Turned off power to unit onswitch box. Used Phillips screwdriver to take out old unit.Could come out at least 3"with connecting wires with clips on their ends. Disconnected clips ,connected clips to new unit and put back in place. Redid screws. Turned on power.... Wa-La ... Works Great. Thank You Very Much for your service.
