I removed the two screws that held in the old part. I pulled the element out a few inches.I disconnected two wires from the old element and connected it to the new. Using the screws provided I reconnected the unit. All went well. No need for repairman. 1

Broiler wasn't working
First, I left the new part on the kitchen counter for a couple of days. To my surprise, NOT, my husband didn't take the bait.

With no other options I took control. First I turned off the power to the wall oven, unscrewed the bracket at the back of the oven which holds the broiler in place. Then I unscrewed the brace on the top of the the oven, pulled the element out, unhooked the connectors for the old, connected the new, and slid broiler into the brace. Screwed that down then pushed wires and connectors back and screwed bracket in place. Turned power back on and tested - works great.

Still don't think my husband's noticed a thing. Somethings are just better left unsaid.

needed new oven light assembly/part #PS1864256
Removed old assembly, attached wires to new and inserted into space for same. Of course you must turn off the range circuit breaker. The part that took the most time was removing the old assembly. Once that was done, the rest took only a few minutes.

The oven heating element burned out and would no longer heat.
It was very simple. First thing I did was to go online to youtube and type in the kind of repair I intended to do. There were several short videos showing you how to do the replacement. It was easy and took about 30 to 45 minutes. First thing is shut off the power to the oven. ( Very important). You then need to take out two screws that hold the element in place. At this point, just pull the element toward the front of the oven. You will see some insulation at the hole where the wires come out. Slowly work the element forward until you see the fasteners on the wires ( two wires).Disconnect the fasteners and throw the old element out and put the new one in the oven.Connect the element, push everything back into the hole and screw the element to the back wall. You're done ! I had two wall ovens to fix.

Oven stopped working mid-bake and clock went dark
I removed the front panels and took out the clock. Clock removal was done two or three wires at a time. I hooked up the old wires to the new clock as I went. There were about 7 wires. This ensured a proper hook up. Reinstalled the front panels, and back to baking dinner.

oven door would not stay shut
I replaced both hinges and then the door would not stay open so I put one new hinge and one old hinge without a spring on. I did not see the old springs to know whether the new springs were stronger. it was a very simple and easy process. I pulled the oven out of the cabinet part way so I could access the screws and removed the old hinges and installed the new ones. push oven back in a replaced screws into the cabinet.

heating element disintegrated
Unscrewed old element from back of oven, disconnected and reinserted new element and screwed back into place. Voila! So glad to have saved the cost of a repairman. Where I live this would have been a $200 repair(part and service call) easily. This repair took no time at all. Very please as to how fast Parts service got the part to me. I use my oven a lot, so I was lost without it.

bake element in lower oven had burned out
I made the mistake of thinking that, if the oven was off, there would be no voltage to the heating element. Wrong! I removed the element, wearing rubber gloves just for safety, and had no problem. But when I put the wiring back on the new element and tried to slide it into the hole at the back of the oven, one of the wires brushed the metal, sparks flew, and melted one of the wires. Even though the oven was off, this wire was hot. The solution was, of course, just to turn off the circuit breaker, reconnect the wire, and slide the element back in. It works fine now.
