Replace Oven Door Handles
Be prepaired to take the glass out. Unexpected, but not too hard. A right angle screw driver can be helpful for the bottom door. Takes some skill and patience. Good Luck! I am happy with the parts. Delivery time was quick.

Upper oven door handle broke off on one side
The oven door comes off easily by opening to the first stop and lifting it straight off the hinge arms. I removed all of the small perimeter screws, removed the outer glass and the upper frame that the handle attaches to. Removed the broken handle and attached the replacement part. Re-assembled oven door and slid it back onto the hange arms. Piece of cake repair!!

Code said we needed a sensor
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires to remove the old sensor. Went on line to find out where to order it from. Ordered it, It was on back order but was only about 1 week to receive. Reversed the procedure. WA LA. It works great.

When opening the oven door, the hinge on the left of the door broke.
We panicked cause even simple repairs on these products cost and cost.....but we remained calm and ordered the exact part necessary from you. It arrived in just 3 days and once we had the part in hand it was easy to understand how to replace it. We disassembled the door with screwdrive and swapped the broken part with the new one. The one gotcha was that we were not aware of the shipping pin holding the spring and we struggled for a few trying to get the door closed all the way. Once we discovered the pin and removed it, it was fixed and we were PLEASED!

Thank you,
Louise and Rickl

After self cleaning the oven received an error code telling me the sensor was bad.
Removed the two screws holding the element in place. I then pulled the element and wiring out until I saw the connecter. I disconnected the two wires and then chose the correct connector from the package, snapped it back into place, put the screws back, turned on the breaker then tested the oven and found that everything was working correctly.
This is the second time I have ordered from Part Select, the first time was for a front LED panel on the same appliance. With the help finding the part you need and the comments from other customers I have saved a lot of money by repairing these problems myself. Oh, and the best part is the look on my husband's face when he came home and found out the repairs were made by me and not a repairman that he said I should call. He said he would laugh when the first repair by me didn't work but who's laughing now : )

oven getting 50 degrees or more, hotter than setting
As the video described I just unscrewed the sensor from inside the oven. Although I couldn't pull the wiring harness through the insulation (the wires were gathered in back with a wire tie) just four screws to loosen the back panel for access to the connection. My wife says it seems to be heating perfectly now.

F1 code and oven wouldn't operate
I was told by appliance repairman that sensor and electronic panel were out - so ordered both as PartSelect was less expensive (about 1/2) than service call price. Sensor was in stock and arrived in 2 days, panel was special order from factory.
Replaced the sensor. Pressed Control Lock pad for several seconds and oven clock came on. Was able to set baking temp, broiler, and convection operation as normal.
Canceled order on panel as Sensor fixed my problem.

Oven light stays on when door is shut.
I replaced the hinges as described in other posts and the problem was solved. When the oven was 2 years old it had the same problem but the hinges should not have fatigued at that point. The engineering problem someone mentioned is that the pin of the light switch is too short. I touched it with lipstick, closed the oven door, and opened the door to see exactly where the door touched the pin. I drilled a small hole in the door and screwed in a self tapping metal screw...problem solved for 8 years until the hinges fatigued. After replacing the hinges I tried removing the screw but the light stayed on so I put the screw back.

Broiler would not heat
replaced broiler element - still would not heat.
Called repairman and the control panel is out and will cost around 200.00 to replace. To replace the element, my son helped as my arms weren't long enough. Removed two screws at back and two screws on front of broiler brace. Pulled out and removed wires and hooked them to the new element. Had to turn off circuit breaker. Pushed element back into the holes and replaced screws.
In this instance, it would have been cheaper had I just called the repairman first. However, I have an extra broiler element in case it goes out again.

Control Panel Buttons Not Working
Make sure oven is unplugged or breaker switch is OFF.

Pull the oven roughly 1/3 of the way out.

There are two bolt screws on each side of the control panel that become visible upon pulling the oven out. Remove these bolts with a nut driver.

Carefully pull the panel 180 degrees downward and being careful with the attached wiring.
Unplug the two strip cables going into the control box by lifting up on the plastic holders.

Find the outer-most bolts, 2 on each side of the control panel innards, and remove them and then remove the entire control panel.

Remove the silver heat shielding from the old control panel and put it in the same way on the new one. Re-connect the two strip panel cables the same way it was connected, make sure everything else is still plugged in!

Re-bolt the the panel to the control box with the 4 outer screws.

Line up control panel and re-bolt the 4 outer-screws on the side of the oven

Gently push the oven back in place.

Cook brownies to celebrate!!

replace door hinge
The repair was very easy to perform, but the springs in the new hinge were not as strong as the old one. The door would not close all the way unless you held it closed. The hinge looked identical but spring had less tension.

Original oven light lens had cracked and broken in two.
I screwed the light lens into the socket and went beautifully. Better than the original. (I am a retired, 75 yr. old woman).
