This part acts like a safety thermostat on the appliance. Once it reaches a certain temperature it will shut off the heat source (element) to make sure the temperature doesn't go any higher.

This part may look different from the original, but should still function the same. The wiring is different, and is recommended to be installed by a repair person.

This is a single pane of glass and is used for the interior of the door. The interior door has two of panes that are separated by a window spacer.
