BFES368EC6 Frigidaire Wall Oven - Instructions

Took 3 panels off to get to the electric block. Replaced electrical block and put it back together. Still no change.

Easy as 1-2-3

open door,throw the door latches at the hinges and remove door. Take the out of the outer panel so you can separate the glasses. remove clip that hold the outer glass in place. I ordered a replacement glass as I never thought that it would come clean it looked so bad, but it cleaned up like new so I now have a spare glass for my oven door. Just reverse the way you take it apart to put it back together.

I removed the element, plugged in the new one and that has corrected the uneven oven temperature.

Trun off power, remove other knobs gain access to panel remove rubber connectors, which gave me access to switch. Study connections install new switch put panel back together,turn power back on run a series of test, all went well.

The hinges had just wore out ofter several years of service. We took the Oven Door of, simply and took the hings off and ordered the new ones. VERY EASY TO DO. The shipping, my my goodness Ordered on Thursday noon time and received the items before 4 pm on Friday. I just can't get over how quickly You shipped this item. Removed 2 screws holding old temperature sensor inside the oven and gently pulled out the wire till the connector came through the hole. Disconnected old probe and attached new one. Fished the wire back in the hole and replaced the two screws. Then followed the operating instructions for calibrating the oven. Ended up setting it +5 degrees. So far, works great.

Moved the stove away from the wall, unhooked the electric cord and the gas pipe. In the oven, undid the two screws holding the probe. Removed two screws and removed the electrical cover panel from the stove back, disconnected the quick connect to the probe and pulled the probe from the oven. Reversding the proceedures, put the new probe into the oven, hooked up the quick connect and replaced the electrical panel cover. From the front, reinstalled the probe with the two screws, reconnected the gas and the power cord and put the stove back into position. It works just fine now!

Husband made install in very short time. Nice to have them back in operation.

2 People--removed door, then removed and replaced springs followed by door a brief pictorial of the area even printed on the package would have simplified the project

I mistakenly took the two screws out of the front piece above the oven. Except for that the time would have been maybe 10 minutes. The knobs all four came off easy and so did the retainer nuts and the six screws holding the metal plate. I took the old switch out after turning off the power. I had the new switch in one hand and removed one wire at a time from the old and put it on the new one. Put the parts back in place and turned the power on and turned the switch on. Works great! Saved about one hundred and thirty dollars from what the repair service charged last time.

1. Moved stove from against the wall. 2. Unplugged the power supply. 3. Removed the electrical pannel cover. 4. Disconnected the quick connect probe plug. 5. Opened the oven and removed the probe. 6. Installed the new probe. 7. Connected the quick connect plug. 8. Reattached the electrical panel cover. 9. Plugged in the electrical supply. 10. Moved the stove back into its original position. ****Note**** THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I REPLACED THE PROBE. THE FIRST REPLACEMENT LASTED ONLY 5 MONTHS!!!!

removed the door from the range. removed the 4 layers of glass and carefully set aside the unbroken ones. the 3rd and 4th glasses were held together with a metal frame which had to be dismantled. The old broken glass was rusted and hard to get out of the frame. It had to be cleaned thoroughly of broken glass and rust. the removal process could then be reversed to assemble the parts and re assemble the door to the front of the range

Replaced both springs. Follow instructions in owners manual on removing door. Spring assembly resides in door. Remove screws holding spring assembly in place, then the remaining screws holding the inside of door in place. Raising the side, slide out old spring then slide in the new one - do the same on the opposite side. Replace all the screws - starting with those that hold the spring assembly making sure the latches are straight. Put the door back on making sure to lock "spring locks" detailed in owners manual

I was unable to loosen the screws myself so I called my friends husband to help me. We watched the video together and followed the instructions. The door in the video was a bit different than mine but this repair was easy.
