Oven element burnt out and broke apart.
After ordering the element, found out it was the wrong element, I needed an 18.5 inch x 15.5 instead of the 15 1/4 x 15 1/2"...I slowly bent the element in shape to fit my oven. It works beautiful.
But for you guys, order the right one. Don't forget to measure your old elements spread from connection to connection. Install the new element and then test to be sure it works proper.

This is a very easy repair as the sensor had 2 screws and slid out of the back of the inside of the oven just enough to hook up the new one. I never had to back the oven out of the wall. It is a 5 minute repair. Ok I did use my son's head lamp from scouts for better light as you have to kill the power to the oven, so no oven light. And you can't hold a flashlight and do this alone.

However, I ordered the part before I took the old part out. Don't do that. There are 2 froms of Temp sensors that you can order one male and one female. I did not know that and just ordered what looked to be the right part. It turned out that I needed the female sensor. When I called the folks at part select they were terrific! They sent out the new part the next day and a UPS form via email to send the other part back.

I don't know what a service call would have been but this was very easy. I will go here first for appliance parts. Women can fix stuff too!

Door on range would not close for self cleaning
First turn off power to stove with breaker or unplug it. Then remove three screws under the front of cook top, and lifted up cook top from the front. Then brace it up with a stick about 20 inches long so you can work. Now locate the latch at the front of range. Next get some paper and labeled where each wire is connected by color. Remove wires from old part, next take out two screws by the front of part. Remove a clip on left side of part that is holding the wires. Take old part out and replace with new part, put back the two screws in front of part. Next put the wires back on using the list you made. Then replace clip to hold wires. Now turn power back on,or plug it back in. Reset clock and your done.

Heating element burned out...forcing me to replace it.
Our oven is a wall mounted oven so I could not reach the plugin. Therefore I shut the power off at our breaker box. I then removed the screws that held the old heating element to the oven. Removed the element, slipped connecting wires off of the old element. Next I slipped the connector wires onto the new element and replaced the screws. Turned the power back and and checked to see if oven worked. It did! As you can tell I am a novice at home repair but this worked perfectly!

needed new oven light assembly/part #PS1864256
Removed old assembly, attached wires to new and inserted into space for same. Of course you must turn off the range circuit breaker. The part that took the most time was removing the old assembly. Once that was done, the rest took only a few minutes.

Autolatch assembly did not work
The repairman that had come had stated that this part is no longer made, but I was able to locate one through PartSelect and was able to replace it with minimal effort.

I removed the three screws that held down the stove glass top surface and had a person hold the stove top up while I removed the two screws which held the autolatch assembly in place. I then swapped the leads from the failed assembly to the new one and replaced the screws which were removed. New assembly tested out fine and oven was able to self-clean again.

Element burned up
On the Saturday before Christmas, during some baking, my heating element we out of my oven! Since I was cooking Christmas dinner at my house on Thursday, I freaked out. Fortunately, we got on the interenet, ordered a new element, paid for 2-3 day shipping, and received it on Wed. afternoon. My husband unscrewed the old element, and put the new one in about 5 minutes. Very easy job, and Christmas was a total success!

Heating element in electric oven went out.
Repairmen all wanted a pretty penny to fix the problem, basically buying a new oven would have been cheaper. I ordered the heating element I needed. Once it arrived I took it out of the box and handed it and screw driver to my Son-in-law and as he stood there with a dumb founded look I told him “replace the old with the new one or I will never cook for you again”. Boy did he do the work in a flash, it was easy peasy. I didn’t even break a sweat. I hope this is helpful to your other customers.

The oven wouldn't bake anymore.
First I removed the two screws that held the element in place. Then after slightly pulling out the wires, I disconnected the two wires on each side. The new part just snapped into the old wires. I pushed the element back into place, replaced the original two screws to hold it into place, and it was all done! Two screws and two wires...done. It took about 2 minutes and this is something I have NEVER done before. The oven works beautifully now!
