Two of my shear pins did their job and sheared off when the wet snow jammed up the augur. Do the shear pins come with the bow tie cotter pins or do I have to buy them separately? Also, the augur was not turning after the two pins came off the augurs on either side of the center axle - will replacing the pins fix the problem of it not turning?

Hello Steve, Thank you for the question. Replacing the Shear Pin should correct the issue. The Bow Tie Cotter Pins are sold separately. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Broken Steering Trigger on right side
If the trigger is broken on the left side, it is really easy to replace, if broken on the right side like mine the snow chute joystick control is in the way. Just remove the cover under the joystick and then the large nut under the joystick then you will be to push the joystick down giving you access to the pin that holds the steering tri gger.

The chute rotation assembly was stuck
I ordered a replacement chute rotation gearbox. The small metal ball on the end of the cable (on the replacement part) was attached about 1/8" too long and made it so that there was too much play in the trigger that operates it. Thus, the replacement part did not work. I called customer service for directions about returning the part. They said it must have been defective. I'm still waiting for instructions about returning it for a refund. The whole thing was a bust. I ended up disassembling the old gearbox and fixing it, instead of replacing it (which would have been my preference). The replacement part did not work at all!
