My bits do not stay in position. I set them (I do tighten them very tight) then when I am using the router the bits keep going deeper.

Hello Garry, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Collet and Collet Nut for wear or damage and clear any dirt and dust build up. We hope this helps!

Old power cord frayed at the grommet entering the drill casing
Did not do repair as replacement part did not match description on partselect website. The grommet is not part of the replacement that was sent. Order #22962198
