No Ice Production
Removed end cover from ice maker assembly. Motor driven wheel had broken from its plastic shaft. Disconnect power source. Using philips screwdriver, remove three screws from corners of motor mold and remove mold. Per instruction on end cover, rotated strips arm ice ejection tines until they pointed in the two-o'clock position. Dry fit (without screws)new motor mold assembly to ensure that the shaft with flat engaged the socket with flat and that the new part assembly seated flat on icemaker housing re-install 3-screws. Re-connect power source. After 2 hrs. , Confirm that ice cubes are being produced.

icemaker just quit making ice
my husband just took the motor off the existing maker and decided the front part of the unit was bad, I ordered it and it came in about 3 days he put the new front on it and screwed the unit back in the freezer, was about 4 screws I think. Didnt take too long but I would bet the next time it would be easier. Thank you

Icemaker stopped making ice.
After determining that the gear on the motor assembly had broken off, I ordered from this website. First time using Partselect, and will now always check and hopefully order here first. Repair was very easy. Pulled the old assembly off by taking out three screws, removed the broken assembly, put the new one on, replaced the three screws, and installed the icemaker back into the freezer. Took a about 30 min total. Came back in about an hour and had ice!

No Ice
No ice means motor and assembly 60% of the time. The hard thing was to unplug the wire plug to the refrigerator from the icemaker and to reconnect it. Its fixed for another ten years. Ez

Not making ice
I didn't, the young man who does all my maintenance work did it. He's super and can do anything. Thanks for making the repairs so simple, not having to pay the going service charge....I paid my Jim $25 compared to probably $65 by a service person.

Ice maker stopped making ice
I opened the front of the ice maker and saw that a piece of plastic was broken off. It was the piece that connected up to the ice ejector. Since it was broken, the motor would turn to eject the ice, but it could not drive the ejector. All I really need to replace was that small piece of plastic, but the individual pieces are not sold separate. I had to by the complete motor assembly, but it was much easier to replace the entire piece. Cost me about $60. A repair man would have charged that and much more.

The icemaker was stuck with ice cubes blocking ejection
After reading solutions to my problem on your website I ordered the part which fixes 50% of the problems. When I got back after Christmas the part had arrived. I removed the Icemaker and replaced the part. It took aprox. 20 minutes for the job. It was easy. Now we have ice cubes again.

Ice maker was no longer producing ice.
I'm by no means handy, but replacing the motor went surprisingly smooth. Using the enclosed instructions and an on-line video walkthrough made the repair easy. My wife now views me as an appliance wizard.

My Ice Maker Has Plastic And Metal Parts, Of Course A Plastic Part Broke.
This was very easily repaired in about 15 minutes and only using a phillips head screw driver to remove 3 screws. The plate pulls off easily and there are no wires on this particular ice maker, only male and female clips . You may have to jiggle the metal wire ice on-off bar. The new face plate is all one piece and is installed the same way very easily. Plugged the refrigerator back in and had half a bucket of ice the next morning!!!
