WRT314TFDW00 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

Noticed the evaporator fan not spinning but would spin with a finger jump start. After looking up the part on the PartSelect liner parts diagram I found the installation video that really helped. After installing the fan it tested out fantastic. The fan was blowing air 10 times more than the old one. Refrigerator works great on the original econo setting.

Ordered a new crisper drawer and simply changed them out

This job was extremely easy, snap on.

doesn't need instructions, join a couple of parts together that all it was a bar to hold things in place on the freezer part door

I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!

Why didn't I order this part and do the repair earlier? Very simple.

The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!

My son said it was easy to put in the motor I didn’t need the fan my fan was in good shape yet thank you so much for everything

Very simple fix, remove 3 screws, two connectors to the old switch

Followed the video instructions.

I slid out the broken drawer and slide in the new one. The replacement drawer fite great.

Once I got the new trays. I checked to see if there was any damage from transport. The trays were packed so nicely
I proceeded to clean the new trays. I then removed the broken trays, and clean the shelf, and bottom of the refrigerator. Then slid the new trays in to place. Make sure they were in the guide grooves. That was all there was to it , easy pecy

Using a screwdriver

I first replaced the switch and had no results, I then ordered the Light Socket Kit, and because I had the experience of removing the panel to replace the switch, it took a few minutes to remove the two screws behind the panel, removing the temperature control knobs and then releasing the face plate which is secured by tabs at the bottom. The kit came with extra connectors in case they were needed, but they were not in my case and so I pulled off the wires, pushed the old socket out and the new one in. Attaching the wires to the correct pins, I screwed in the light bulb to be sure that the fix was correct and determining that, I replaced the screws that held the panel in place. Voila, I'm a happy camper who found some outdated jars in the back corners of the newly lighted shelves.

Since I have All Whirlpool appliances in the home, the only one not a Whirlpool was a counter top dishwasher that looks exactly like it could be a Whirlpool and so not to be the odd unit out, I labeled it with with a Whirlpool logo nameplate on the face of the door. Now everything matches perfectly and all in the same exact color white too.

Just measured and marked where the plate was to be located, cleaned that part of the surface, peeled the backing and carefully placed the logo name plate in place and pressed it on. Voila. Done and looks original as well. Call me the big, deep fakearooski.

I placed the glass into the frame. I attempted to slide the frame into the refrigerator over the two crisper drawers. It wouldn't go.

My son came to my rescue. "Mother, the drawers slide into the frame". He took the drawers out, put the frame in the refrigerator, placed the glass cover into the frame, then slide the drawers back into the rungs made for them in the frame. Easy peasy! ;

Ordering was made smooth with a good program for finding parts.
