Checked the water line from the wall to the supply port of the inlet valve and it was suppling water but no water beyond the water inlet valve, So I ordered a new inlet valve and installed, and it fixed the problem. Inlet valve supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser filter housing. Partselect videos and you tube installation videos very helpful. Partselect troubleshooting guide also very helpful. i had used your web site before and i read several problems that your readers had. i went to the back of the unit, removed the bottom cover and right there the i found the run capacitor and i chaged it. since i had only ordered this part to save money i went back and ordered the Start Device which when i took it off it was completely burned. the replacement part came labeled with 2 different compressor #, so i picked the one that i had and unpluged each wire. the part may differ from the one that it's in the unit but it worked when i pluged everything back on. it also helps to take a picture of everything before removing the wires in case you have to leave it and come back later. i hope to use this refrigerator another 10 years. thank you all for your help.

Simple, turn and pull to remove. Push and turn to install.

Refrigerator side top unscrewed hex screws unscrewed Phillips screws remove circuit board unplugged connects and installed new board in reverse order

Shut off water supply. Unplug refrigerator. Removed lower back cardboard panel. Removed two screws holding inlet valve bracket to side frame. Pulled valve out far enough to gain access to water lines and electrical connectors. Used 9mm open end wrench to press in collars to remove water lines from inlet valve. Used small container to catch water dripping from lines. Removed defective valve and replaced with new one by first pushing water lines into respective openings, make sure they are fully seated. Reconnected electric wires. Installed inlet valve on side frame. Replaced back panel. Plugged in power cord. Opened water supply. Flushed about 2 gals of water through system. Note: water may not flow immediately due to air in water lines.

Followed the u tube directions disconnect the power to the refrigerator remove the Ice cube pan place flat head screw driver under the front tabs push in to release the tabs pull down on the light release the back tabs from housing pull the light down from the housing disconnect the plug from the burned-out diode replace with the new diode light and repeat the same instructions in reverse to reinstall the diode light. The diode light in the freezer controls all the light in the refrigerator and freezer all should now light up.

The plastic covering over the buttons for water and ice on our refrigerator door ice maker wore out after 4 years and looked bad. So instead of buying a whole new fridge we looked at replacing the panel. I found it here and ordered it. All it took to replace was a small flathead screwdriver to pop the old one out on the tab by the light. I figured out where it was by looking at the new unit. plugged in the new panel and it was good to go and easier than I thought it would be. Thank god because I thought my wife would never stop complaining about the refrigerator door buttons. ;)

Technician at ASK suggested replacing ice maker. Ordered new ice maker(prompt delevery)then noticed it came without wire arm and white platic "flag". Ordered arm and "flag", replaced all old with new and seems to be doing well. Perhaps all I needed was the plastic "flag" on the limit arm wire. Will never know. The new icemaker wiring had short wires and a connector. Old ice maker had no connector so the short wires were removed and the old wires plugged into the ice maker. Mirror was required in order to see the side wall mounting screws. Very narrow work area, tiny freezer side.

I removed the screws that attached the drum housing to the bin. I detached the auger & removed the broken drum assembly, turning the auger to the right, opposite what I thought it should be. I slipped the end of the auger into the new bin coupler & put it in place at the rear of the bin. Next I slipped the auger drum into place & tightened it to the left with a socket wrench. I screwed the drum housing to the bin, put the bin back into the freezer & I now have ice through the door again. Easy repair even for me, a 60+ woman.

Emptied draw of contents pulled draw out and inserted new drawer....easy pea-zee

using a flat blade tool removed old main light board and installed new light board, light now works fine.

Ordered the replacement part, came in 2 days, opened the box,rinse and dried it and put in the door. Nothing to it.
