The bracket when mfg'ed had plastic molded round (bud like pieces on both ends of new bracket. In order for the bracket to be flush and to fit, I had to saw off the round nubs off. After I did this, the bracket fit without any more problems.

Track wouldn't slide or pop in readily.
Couldn't snap the track in no matter how much pressure I exerted. Was afraid I would break the plastic. Maybe it was the wrong part. Found a suggestion in the partsselect tips area. Used a nail file to slowly sand/grind down the plastic hubs. Took my time doing each one several times. Tested installation after each round of sanding down, so as not to go too far. Eventually (5 or 10 minutes of sanding) it popped right into place. What was even more amazing to me is that I ordered the part around 2P.M. on Friday and it was delivered to NJ the next day(Saturday) before noon.

Pan Slide Track broken
I first watched the instructional video and from then on it was a simple repair. The Pan Slide Track had been broken, probably from excess weight in the drawer over the past 8 years. After removing the drawer and glass support per the video, I discovered that BOTH the tracks were broken! Fortunately, I had ordered two(2) tracks and was able to replace both in less than 30 minutes. In my experience of do-it-yourself repairs, this was by far the simplest repair do mainly because of the great step by step video.

cracked fridge drawer slide
Nail set was used to push a locking bump to free the old slide. New slide had large bumps on each end which didn't allow tabs to engage mounting.slots on holder. File was used to reduce size of bumps. Original slide had a single bump in the center which fit intro a hole allowing the slide to lock in place securely.

Pan slide track tolerance too tight
The slide track is designed to slide directly into the slotted metal rails in a no tools required application. However, the tabs in the plastic slide track were slightly bowed inward which decreased the tolerance required to slide freely. After several attempts the plastic then became slightly gouged by the metal rail further preventing the slide track from sliding all the way into place and into the detent. I ended up using a small file to file down the plastic slide track just a bit to remove the gouged plastic and create the required tolerance to allow the slide track to slide into its intended position.

removed the plastic drawer and broken track. New track was the right size, but was difficult to get into place. Wish they wouldn't use plastic for something holding the weight of the drawer plus contents.

One of the pan slide tracks got stuck during insertion
I ordered two Whirlpool pan slide tracks, which are identical for the right and left sides. The first track popped right in, just like in the installation video, but the other one got stuck during insertion. I noticed that all three plastic tabs of the track were caught on the edges of their respective metal slots, and the plastic was being shredded by the metal when I pushed harder trying to insert the track. I took a kitchen knife and shaved off small slivers of plastic from the areas of the tabs that were catching. After that, the slide could be inserted easily.
